MEMBERS
The International Automotive Task Force (IATF) is a special working group made up of representatives of the car manufacturers and national automotive sector organisations, American and European, whose purpose is to harmonise the demands of manufacturers as regards the development of quality systems and certification. IATF is made up of: BMW, DaimlerChrysler, Fiat, Ford, General Motors, PSA Peugeot Citroen, Renault, Volkswagen, AIAG (USA), ANFIA (Italy), FIEV (France), SMMT (Great Britain), VDA (Germany).
OVERSIGHT FUNCTIONS
Management of the ISO/TS 16949 certification scheme is delegated to the following 5 national offices:
- Italy: ANFIA
- France: CCFA
- Germany: VDA-QMC
- Great Britain: SMMT
- USA: IAOB
